#WinterSH11 fencing
Write something in which the French touché is actually used as intended, not just to mean “good point.”
Said the barbed wire line to the picket fence,
“Your whiteness makes me tense.”
Said the picket, “I’m sorry to carp,
but your points are very sharp.
Do you mind backing away?”
The wire shyly said, “Touche.”

That’s a very amusing little poem!!!!!
carp and sharp = genius.
LOL! Very cute!
@ordinarybutloud - i amuse my own self.
i thought touche meant “My butt is sad and lonely and needs to be touched”
@runisom48 - good point.
heeheehee Nicely done.

how about electric? you didn’t mention electric fences what about them?
@plantinthewindow - i debated electric vs. barbed wire. also thought about those crooked wooden ones, but couldn’t remember the name. do you know? hook and ladder? snakes and something? what the heck is it?
I clicked on the title expecting this to be about swords. Oh well. I am impressed nonetheless.
@leaflesstree - touche.
