4.10 Pantoum bluemooncat enormous writing thing. who has room for pantoum? makes me go zoom. (head go boom)
It All Ends The Same
the question to disclaim, the answer can proclaim
endless sorrow that has no name
what is on the inside is not the same
a blurry picture without a frame
endless sorrow that has no name
a secret that no one dares to claim
a blurry picture without a frame
what is the aim for who she became
a secret that no one dares to claim
desire is a wild beast you cannot tame
what is the aim for who she became
wish that it was just a game
desire is a wild beast you cannot tame
set fire to emptiness as thoughts enflame
wish that it was just a game
then seek no blame that no one came
set fire to emptiness as thoughts enflame
truth thrust deep that blood can reclaim
then seek no blame that no one came
but nonetheless feel the shame
truth thrust deep that blood can reclaim
reality can sometimes douse the flame
but nonetheless feel the shame
what was can misname, newness may rename
reality can sometimes douse the flame
what is on the inside is not the same
what was can misname, newness may rename
the question to disclaim, the answer can proclaim
Just heard in my house: Listen. It’s a visual. (and it wasn’t me who said it.)

I like…
@armnatmom - you are too kind.
very well done, C. I’m avoiding this prompt.
isn’t Pantoum a hair product?
well done, no lame aim to blame the sane.
I attempted to read this aloud. Thankfully there is no one here to hear it.
yowza with the pantoum!! Also, I am very impressed you’re doing the enormous writing bluemooncat thing. I don’t think I’m going to have the staying power to make it through that thing. But I shouldn’t be talking about this right now because I’m all depressed about getting sucked into the school for 3 weeks.
@plantinthewindow - don’t hate me because i’m beautiful. i have 88 pages of boring to read, i’d write war and peace at this point.
@longshadow618 - the sane became insane with my refrain?
@leaflesstree - and i took some of twisting out of it. !
@ordinarybutloud - i have piles of stuff i’m supposed to be doing. it’s called procrastination. how did you allow the suckage to happen? (but, just think, many blog entries will come from those 3 weeks of ____. please fill in blank, thank you.)
@promisesunshine - what are you reading?
@plantinthewindow - hold on to your hat. The three articles I need to read this weekend:
“Toward an Interactive-Compensatory Model of Individual Differences in the Development of Reading Fluency”, “Prediction of Reading Ability: A Cross-Validation Study of the Simple View of Reading”, AND “Attentional Resource Emancipation: Toward Understanding the Interaction of Word Identification and Comprehension Processes in Reading”. Apparently the authors get paid by the letter for their titles.
there’s not enough coffee in the universe. i’ve read 4 words. so far. i think i need twizzlers.
Wow amazingly well done! I love it. Piercing thoughts and images ^-^
@xXxlovelylollipop - thanks, nadia.
OH I LOVE THIS !!!!!
@roscoes_farm - thanks so much.
“reality can sometimes douse the flame” is my favorite line of the poem. Though it is no one of my favorite forms, still I like this very much
@vexations - that line is probably the truest thing in there.
pantoum: maybe not particularly fun to read, but it was fun to write. like a puzzle. and i do like puzzles. oh. thank you. that was the appropriate (and brief) answer.
I like how line 2 of each stanza becomes line 1 for the next. And of course, I liked the actual poem.
very nice
@gwennieg - it’s a formula. thank you. @godfatherofgreenbay - thanks, loyal reader.
This is very good. Especially nice with the sound of rain pitter pattering in the background.
@deepfriedchickenpox - thanks. yes, it does suit a rainy day.
