I’m tired this morning. And no wonder. I had a busy night.
Ha. I meant in my subconscious. Let’s see. I was in the middle of some town and ran into a lady I work with. She was glad to see me. I can tell this because she handed me her less than year old baby (in the dream she was a boy, in real life he is a girl. but anyhow) so she could carry her 3 year old across this street. It was nighttime. And a city I don’t know, but I think it’s one I’ve dreamed of before (that might be dreamt there. I do not care.). So we survive getting across the street and we’re walking down the sidewalk. Suddenly it’s daytime and she wants to stop at this shop to make a craft. And her baby turned into a kitten which somehow I’m still supposed to be carrying. I gave it a really good try. I don’t recall seeing any blood, but surely there must have been some. Then I gave up and let the cat go. The little bugger ran into the basement. Then suddenly I’m lying on a bed (which was nice for a dream) and a bazillion kitties are crawling all over me.
I believe I also did a lot of driving in my dream. Might have been a truck this time. Oh. And down steps covered with snow. And there was my mountain road and my river. Can’t have a long driving dream without those two places.
Don’t hobbits have hair on their feet, not just their toes?
Spouseman was looking at his pants this morning and said “this looks like a hand job”. I busted out laughing. And not just because he thinks I’m going to sew his pants today.
LLO is arguing with her dad about surfice. Surfice it to say that she is not convinced on the surface.
Can I run away? Like, really? This month is kinda action-packed.
A friend of mine played what she thought was a joke on me last night. She does not want to know what I thought of her. Later she told me that I couldn’t take her sarcasm. Yes, friend, you are right, I cannot. Used to be that she knew what was going on in my world.
This was your weekly random posting. Just so you know I’m still alive and kicking. (up a fuss)

I appreciate your fiestyness.
I haven’t dreamt in quite some time. But I recall having recurring dreams of flying.
Babies and kittehs? Surfice it to say, it sounds like you’ve got a lot on your plate, er, platter.
@Kellsbella - clearly stuff i have no control over.
@armnatmom - i’m scared to dream of flying. who knows what might happen
Glad to know you’re still alive and kicking. I was never great at accepting sarcasm. Why do people insist on using it? Have fun with spouseman’s hand job.
oxo surfice it to say, good to see you posting, given all that action-packed life. we could talk for days about that sarcasm thing. grrr. i mean, really, why would someone turn their tongue into a knife? just because you can’t see the blood from your cutting words doesn’t mean it’s not there. grrr. i mean Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmm
oxoo
Sounds like you were in Wonderland & someone put something in your tea. Quite possibly the Hatter. He always was a wee bit strange and often up to no good. Right up my alley!!
You had me rolling at the ‘hand job.’ That painted such a picture and probably one you don’t really want to know.
I truly don’t know how families make it through this time of year. It’s stressful enough without the holiday involved.
Always enjoy your posts. They bring life to life since mine is so blasted quiet all the time. Feel free to visit if you need some peace and quiet. I don’t even own a TV… yet.
Have a great remainder of your week, Carrie.
((((hugs)))) my dear.
Thanks for sharing…and for the chuckles!
@songoftheheart - i suppose it’s karma. sarcasm is my native tongue.
@Bels_Kaylar - once upon a time i was really horrible with it. discovered with my girlies that you catch more flies with honey. constant diligence though. my friend wasn’t really sarcastic with me. she just pulled out the last toothpick that was holding me together yesterday.
@MzSilver - i can’t even describe to you how much i hate this time of year. and actually, i’m better this year than many others. which really says a lot doesn’t it. thanks for your visit and your kind words. hope you are well, peggy sue.
@crankycaregiver - cool. i’m glad you got some chuckles. we always need some of those.
I do think hobbits have hairy feet and toes…at least mine do
@mlbncsga - i really think i should have been a hobbit. i’m a little too tall, but really, everything else works.
weird…my dreams last night involved a lot of driving but it was back and forth between my house and a grocery store. For some reason I could only buy one item at a time and had to take it back to my house before I could buy another.
@godfatherofgreenbay - is that like supermarket sweep?
down in the Shire they could shrink you up/down a little I’m pretty sure
I’ve had a “crossing the street” dream, and it was scary! Last night, I dreamt I was on a train and then in an old west town with some guys and one of them was Tom Cruise. Weird.
Sit down for a minute, read The Hobbit and rest your hairy feet!
Tear a page from the book of kittens, curl up and relax for a while. Maybe a foot rub. Yes hibbits do have large hairy feet and toes, nothing like yours I am certain.
Been to ‘Hobbiton’ and meet a few over the years. Hobbiton is two hours drive from where I live (truth) Matamata, New Zealand where the movie was created, and I live a half hour drive from Mt Doom. love those movies, cant wait to see the latest. Enjoy your day! or is that evening I believe…
@promisesunshine - cool, darlin’, to hear that her intent was not to hurt, you. yes, re the jimmy stewart thing, way past your time, but you travel time well, so maybe you know “Harvey” or was that the one, where he said, he was taught the same, one can catch more ‘flies’ with honey, than vinegar. oxooooo
@Bels_Kaylar - oh.my.goodness. do i ever need to see “it’s a wonderful life”
@promisesunshine - it’s not really Christmas, until you do. seriously. oxoo
@Bels_Kaylar - last time i watched that i did it in PUBLIC! can you imagine? i won’t make that mistake again.
@promisesunshine - heh. i did not know you had already seen it. i almost suggested a box of kleenex, but did not want to scare you off
numbers: jimmy stewart was born on one of my brother’s birthdays, may 20th. a taurus/gemini cusp. so lovely. i am so wanting to see “Harvey” now. and “It’s a Wonderful Life”. and Arsenic and Old Lace.
yeah, i’m a Capra woman.
@Bels_Kaylar - you have multiple brothers. i do not know harvey. will have to look into. but later. i have plenty to watch right now.
@promisesunshine - understood, re time, just put it on the list. a Pooka is almost as important as a hobbit. <3
I often have dreams of driving, or trying to get somewhere, but never actually getting there. I’m sure there’s a metaphor there somewhere. I lolled at your description of carrying a kitten. My cat doesn’t like being picked up at all so I think there might be blood if I tried. Good luck with the sewing. I have things I should sew. and I haven’t.
Isn’t fun to have strange dreams?
Stress dreams are the pits! You husband is funny!
One more day til your birthday…One more day til your birthday.
From Carolyn who told me to say on that day…happy birthday to you.
PPhilip did not know or care when your birthday comes, but whenever birthdays comes here on xanga it doesn’t cost me a cent to say happy birthday to you.
@PPhilip - i feel so special.
@leaflesstree - yep. i didn’t have time to sew yesterday. giggle
@Shining_Garnet - it’s either no dreams or strange dreams with me.
@murisopsis - this is true.
