bluemooncat enormous thing 24. use the words: Alaska, blueberries, time-space continuum, apology, satin, moon
the moon called from the night sky
misplaced lovers listen from across
the time-space continuum further
than they ever dreamed possible
her satin gown covered in lace
and an unspoken apology
tears refused to fall on the tundra
in her heart of Alaska, cold
pushing against the heat of
what once was real in a make-believe
world of remembering
and the sweet juice of blueberries
tasted of broken promises

Somehow ones like this always surprise me–like I’m getting a glimpse of a part of you I don’t usually see.
You’re real good at this poetry thing. Beautiful. And the picture goes nicely with the words.
