Music makes you smarter. It seems that the scheduling drama for band and choir for next year are over. LLO didn’t even try to get out of band. She had the paper filled out and ready for me to sign. Spawn has decided to do band again next year because the boy she’s crushing on is in band. Whatever, I’ll take it. Also, Spawn wants to take piano lessons again. Hallelujah.

Good job all around! Let there be music!
Miss being in Choir. Fun times. Good for you!!!
I’m enjoying all of your npm poetry here!
These different styles are interesting. Nice poem too.
That’s great, that they want to continue in music!
Hallelujah….sounds right.
Music rocks!
The secret of a melody. Oh yes.
I like!!
I’ve always liked the band kids – they are all good kids and the hard work involved in marching and music keeps them out of trouble (at least the serious dangerous kind)!
I hope she keeps up with her desire to learn music. Good for her, and the boy friend who made her realize that it is good to be in the band. My daughter played the flute and was in the high school orchestra and never marched in the band. i love watching the bands from various schools go by at different parades.
This is so beautiful and so true!
Good writing, too!
Music has been a joy, an escape, a head-lifter, a lifesaver for me!
I’m so glad your kids are musical and learning music. It will be with them all their lives.
Boy-crushing got many a girl to do something good. At least that’s been my experience.
HUGS!!!
